What Siteory collects, and why.

This policy describes the Siteory website and audit service. It was last updated on 1 October 2026.

Who is responsible

Siteory provides website audits at siteory.co. Questions about this policy go to hello@siteory.co.

Data we collect

  • Account data: email address and the sign-in provider you used (Google or email)
  • Scan data: URLs you submit, crawl results, and the generated reports
  • Billing data: plan, payment status, and identifiers from the payment processor. We do not store full card numbers
  • Usage data: pages viewed on siteory.co, coarse device information, and diagnostic logs

How we use it

We use this data to run scans, enforce the one free audit and paid limits, send transactional email such as “your audit is ready,” fix failures, and understand whether the marketing site is working. We do not sell personal data.

Processors

We use infrastructure and product vendors to host the app, authenticate users, send email, process payments, and measure the public site. Those vendors see only what they need to perform that task. The current analytics tag on the marketing site is Google Analytics.

Retention

Account and report data stay until you delete the account or we close it under the terms. Logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and debugging. Marketing analytics are retained according to that vendor’s settings.

Your requests

Email hello@siteory.co to access, correct, or delete account data. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner. Some billing records are kept where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are required to keep you signed in and to remember session state. The marketing site also uses analytics cookies when the analytics script is present.

Children

Siteory is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account for someone that young.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and, when the change is significant, email the address on the account.
