Terms

The rules for using Siteory.

These terms apply to the Siteory website and audit service. Last updated 1 October 2026.

The service

Siteory crawls a URL you submit and writes SEO, AI search, and security findings. Reports are informational. They are not a warranty that a site is safe, compliant, or will rank. You decide what to change and you review any patch an AI tool drafts from the report.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must be old enough to form a contract and you must provide an accurate email. Scan only websites you own or have permission to audit. Do not use the service to attack, overload, or probe systems you are not allowed to test. We may suspend accounts that look abusive, automated in a way that harms the crawler, or used to scan strangers at scale.

Plans and billing

Each account includes one free audit. Additional audits are sold as a single scan or a monthly subscription, as shown on pricing. Paid fees are handled by the payment processor shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. Unused monthly audits do not roll over unless a checkout screen says they do.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancel from the account billing flow or by emailing hello@siteory.co before the next renewal if the in-product control is unavailable. Charges already processed for a completed scan are not refunded except where required by law or where we decide a scan failed on our side.

Your content and our reports

You keep whatever rights you have in the sites you scan. You grant us a license to fetch those public URLs, store the results, and show them to you. We do not claim ownership of your website. We own the Siteory software, the wording of the product, and the report format.

Confidentiality of other people’s sites

If you scan a site for a client, you are responsible for that relationship. Do not upload credentials. Do not share another person’s report in a public place if they did not agree to it.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service up, and we will still have downtime, crawler limits, and sites we cannot fetch. We may change features. If we discontinue the product, we will try to email the account address.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is. We do not promise rankings, citations in AI products, or the absence of vulnerabilities. To the extent the law allows, Siteory is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Law

If a dispute cannot be resolved by email, it will be handled in the courts that have jurisdiction over our principal place of business, unless consumer law in your country says otherwise. More on data is in privacy. Security practices are summarized on trust & security.
